Snap2024 年第二季度营收同比增长 16%,月活用户超过 8.5 亿


科技公司 Snap (NYSE: SNAP)  8 月 2 日发布 2024 年第二季度财报。报告显示,Snap旗下视觉通讯应用 Snapchat 用户规模实现里程碑意义的突破,全球月活用户(MAU)超过 8.5 亿,加速迈向 10 亿全球用户目标。全球日活用户(DAU)达到 4.32 亿,较上一年同期增加 3600 万。公司第二季度营收达到 12.4 亿美元,同比增长 16%,符合上一季度预期。


英飞凌宣布全球裁员1400人


德国芯片制造商英飞凌周一表示,作为此前宣布的成本节约计划的一部分,该公司将在全球裁员1400人,并将另外1400个职位迁往劳动力成本较低的国家。此次裁员包括早些时候宣布的取消该公司位于德国南部城市雷根斯堡工厂的数百个职位。英飞凌首席执行官Jochen Hanebeck在公司公布最新业绩后表示:“我们排除了在德国强制裁员的可能性。”

搜狐2024年Q2营收1.72亿美元,同比增长13%


搜狐公司公布2024年第二季度财务报告。财报显示,搜狐第二季度总收入为1.72亿美元,同比增长13%,环比增长24%。其中,品牌广告收入为2000万美元,环比增长24%;在线游戏收入为1.47亿美元,环比增长25%。

2024年财富世界500强揭晓:沃尔玛仍为全球最大公司,亚马逊重回第二


8月5日,2024年《财富》世界500强排行榜揭晓。今年《财富》世界500强排行榜企业的营业收入总和约为41万亿美元,相当于全球GDP的三分之一,比去年略微增长了约0.1%。所有上榜公司的净利润总和同比增长2.3%,约为2.97万亿美元。其中,沃尔玛连续第十一年成为全球最大公司。亚马逊重回第二。中国的国家电网公司继续位列第三。排在第四和第五位的分别是沙特阿美和中国石化。


机构:上半年中国蓝牙耳机市场出货量同比增长20.8%


IDC最新发布的《中国无线耳机市场月度跟踪报告》显示,2024年上半年中国蓝牙耳机市场出货量达到5540万台,同比增长20.8%。其中,真无线耳机市场出货3508万台,同比增长5.6%;开放式耳机市场强势增长,2024年上半年出货1184万台,同比增长303.6%。

IAS 正在与 DV 争夺 Moat 即将成为前身的业务


The fight is on to lock in the brands and publishers that will soon be left without a brand safety partner when Oracle officially shuts down Moat at the end of next month.


Integral Ad Science CEO Lisa Utzschneider told investors during the company’s Q2 earnings call on Thursday that IAS is “in the thick of the Oracle opportunity, and we’re playing to win.”


Earlier this week, DoubleVerify bragged about adding former Moat clients to its roster, including Pepsi, Ulta Beauty and AB InBev.


Although Utzschneider didn’t explicitly name-drop any former Moat clients that have defected to IAS, she did note that IAS has already won “several deals” and is amid “dozens” of RFPs with advertisers, platforms and publishers.


IAS has also hired 20 former Oracle employees since June and is now factoring a contribution related to Moat into its full-year outlook. Guidance for 2024 revenue is now $544 million, up from $538 million.


Overall Q2 revenue increased by 14% to $129 million, with measurement-related revenue unsurprisingly making up the lion’s share at 86%. Social media revenue, meanwhile, grew 34% thanks in large part to new relationships with Pinterest, Reddit and Snap and expanded partnerships with Meta, YouTube and TikTok.

Apple is finally paying out a $50 million settlement over its defective MacBook butterfly keyboards.


Keyboard owners with approved claims will receive checks of up to $395 depending on the extent of the repairs necessary. 9to5Mac’s Michael Burkhardt reported that he already received two payout checks.


As soon as the keyboard debuted in 2015, customers reported that the keyboards often got stuck or completely broke, becoming unresponsive. Additionally, users complained that small pieces of dust or debris would become caught in the keys and that they were unable to remove the pieces, rendering keys unusable. In 2019, Apple moved from the butterfly keyboard design to a "scissor-switch" design.

The head of Samsung apparently agrees with the online criticisms regarding the company's "Apple clones."


According to a new report from Korean news outlet Ajunews, Samsung's executive chairman Lee Jae-yong was unhappy with Samsung's mobile division, Samsung MX (Mobile eXperience), due to reactions on social media and in tech news outlets regarding the designs of Samsung's newest products.


Samsung's chairman reportedly demanded the division "reeexamine its plans" following online criticism that the designs of the company's newest devices look like Apple copies.


“The chairman (Lee) himself stepped in after the controversy over Apple's design plagiarism and quality issues surrounding the Buds 3 series and Galaxy Watch 7 released last month," an insider reportedly told the outlet. "The internal atmosphere is currently very bad.”


The report goes on to say that unspecific actions were taken against the head of Samsung MX as well as other employees in the company's mobile division.
